Speakin' Shiak

Salut mes enfants,

This week was splendid. First things first, I am now in a Trio. I am training Elder Portellano from France and also Elder Darche from Quebec. Neato mosquito eh? its gonna be great.

This week went absolutely great. One of our investigators has come to church 3 times already! and her mom has come 2 times:) The mom invited her other daughter to come with her boyfriend and they came this week as well! We will be meeting with them this week to teach them:) Needless to say we are super excited.
Funny story... while knocking the other day we had to walk up this super steep hill and on our way back down.... all three of us slipped hahahah within 30 seconds.. it was awesome. We met a lady from Germany this week as well! and we will be visiting her this week.. Really Bathurst is a tiny melting pot... I've met someone of about every language... Even Arabic.

We had our christmas dinner as a branch this week as well... IT went SO WELL. the food was decent... but there was as many non members there as members! We had about 50 people there, all of our investigators came and tons of members brought friends that we were able to talk to.

Now i want to speak a little Shiak. Its french and english mixed... and everyone speaks it here haha

Merry christmas to you all love you guys like crazy:) P.S. I'm training 2 missionaries at the same time. how cool is that. There was a storm this week that it snowed only like a foot and a half.. but it was super windy so all the snow got blown into like one place so we had to like swim in snow to get to a few doors.. it was weird hahaha.
love you all! merry Xmas!
