First off, congrats to Dusty and Carley! Bring a cardboard cut out of me to your wedding;)
This week went splendid. We started it off with a huge snow storm.. more of a blizzard. We got just over 3 feet of snow.. to add to our snow we already had haha.. Basically the whole city shut down when it happened because they didn't have enough "snow plows" (they use farm tractors here). We couldn't go knocking in the snow because literally nobody with a brain would open their door. So we traveled around the city looking for people who were stuck and shoveled them out. We even had to shovel our selves out of the snow... 3 times hahaha. It was deep enough that our Silverado couldn't drive because the snow was too high.. really funny. AND THEN. the next day it rained all day and half the snow was melted... Weird place.
Our investigators are GRRRRREEAT!! Two investigators bore testimonies of the gospel and CRIED! It was awesome. We went over the stop smoking program with one investigator and she is quitting tomorrow:) They both came to church this week as well making 5 and 3 times:) We are so excited. It will work too. Our two other investigators didn't come to church this week due to one of them having a baby. BUT we found 3 new investigators this week! One is from Germany, who we are teaching WITH her husband again tonight:) and We met a new family as well:) They are a young family with a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old. The father is a business man and he actually is helping us with some of the stuff we use like facebook and the pass a-long cards. He is giving us advice on how to make them better! It was cool. So yeah this week was pretty amazing:)
The bad news.. Elder Darche, just got transfered.. :( he is going to be in another companionship in Bathurst:( So I only have one comp again. We also got another new car.. A 2015 Chevy Equinox to go with the 2014 Silverado. we're spoiled.. ;)
At the Christmas zone conference we watched Meet the Mormons. Watch it. I almost cried like 4 or 5 times. It's really good whether you are churchy or not. AND we did a white elephant and I got a stuffed animal cow. I named him "Mooreese" like Morice from Madagascar "Put your hands in the air Morice!" Anyway, he is Mooreese the Sainte vache or holy cow.
Love you all! Check out the snow!
Je vous aime tous,
Elder Argyle
