BIG NEWS: One of our investigators, had her baby on the 17th. SO yeah pretty neat:) Our primary investigator was super excited because it's her little sister. Speaking of our primary investigator, she is over a month clean of smoking now and really she is perfectly ready for baptism, so we will see how this week goes:)
A miracle that happened to nous autres, les missionaires, this week was a less active who we had been trying to contact for literally 2 months straight.. FINALLY, called us:) and told us to come over and help her dig her car out of the snow. This is a miracle because she doesn't like missionaries a whole lot because a couple of them offended her (and half the branch) a while back, but she likes us a lot! So the miracle, the snow caused her to "Give up her pride and call the missionaries for help" those were her words... and then... She came to church with her 7 year old son the next day:') c'etait trop beau. We also finally got contact with another less active just outside of Bathurst. She works with handicaps and loves it more than anything, and thats why she hasn't been to church because she has been taking care of many. But our primary investigator's son is Autistic and turns out... they are friends! This less active said she was going to come to church to surprise them.. Now we just got to get her to STAY at church for the rest of her life:)
We will be getting our transfer letters this Sunday. Elder Jason (Guadalupe) is leaving, as well as my trainer, Elder Waldie :( sad stuff eh. But we will be receiving new Frenchies!!! They are from, Italy, France, Spain, USA, and Catar? it's somewhere in the middle east.. but neat huh!
It was -27 two days ago, yesterday was -5 and snowing, and today is 5 and raining.... this place has weirder weather than utah.
It takes broken soil to produce a crop, broken clouds to give rain, broken grain to give bread, broken bread to give strength. It is the broken alabaster box that gives forth perfume. . . . it is Peter, weeping bitterly, who returns to greater power than ever.[“Broken Things,” an excerpt from Vance Havner, The Still Water
The trials make you strong:) love you all especially Jango. We did service at the animal shelter this week and we helped with 5 puppies that were left on the side of the road... it was great I got a lot of licks :)
Love you all!
