HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Salut toute la gang!

This week was a pretty fun one. The last couple of days we went into down town Moncton with the other elders and set up a booth for Mothers day. We met a lot of interesting people... ranging from a less active family from the west coast to a man that very well could have been Cain, and a group of guys riding their "Harley Davidson" bicycles that were super super cool.

As far as investigators go, we are still teaching the 20 year old and his 17 year old gf, but they didn't come to church because he plays lacrosse -_- (just another reason why it's not a cool sport sorry Drew and Sco) We will be teaching them the importance of church and the Sabbath day on Tuesday. Our French investigator we will be meeting this week on Thursday, unfortunately he found his way into less desirable false doctrines that we will probably spend most of our lesson resolving. Unfortunately, as soon as someone starts coming unto Christ and his church, immediately the devil and his millions of slaves start to attack wherever is weakest until they get into the foundation. This is why follow up is important as missionaries, this is why we read the scriptures daily, we pray always and why we go to church each week, so that we can remember the covenants we have made with our God to take upon us the name of Jesus Christ and always remember him. You can only entertain one thought at a time, and if you always entertain thoughts of Christ and his gospel there will be no room to doubt.

Interesting thing I found this week while I was reading..
14 And it shall come to pass that my people, which are of the ahouse of Israel, shall be gathered home unto the blands of their possessions; and my word also shall be gathered in cone. And I will show unto them that fight against my word and against my dpeople, who are of the ehouse of Israel, that I am God, and that I fcovenanted with gAbraham that I would remember his hseed iforever.
When I went to the Bible dictionary and Topical guide for the Abrahamic Covenant, it speaks of how his descendants will ALWAYS have a promised land. The book of Mormon is an example of God fulfilling and continuing to fulfill his promise with Abraham so long ago by giving each of us a "Promised land" whether that be in this life, or the next.

I hope you all read daily, it is the iron rod doncha know :)

Love
